DEPARTMENT OF BIO SCIENCES

The forefront department of BIOSCIENCES was established in 2002 to produce hardcore professionals to meet global challenges. The department provides an exciting and supportive environment for graduates and post-graduates students. In addition, the department has close links with the department of Chemistry and Computer Science. There is an exciting programme of external seminars by renowned speakers. The department has dedicated experienced and well qualified regular faculty, excellent Biotechnology and Microbiology laboratories with state-of-art-facilities.

The department of MATHEMATICS AND STATISTICS was established in 1997. Mathematics being a fundamental subject and is essential for all fields of life and knowledge and therefore the college started a post graduate course in Mathematics from the session 2011-12.
